Characteristics of cell and tissue types in vascular plants. Anatomy of developing and mature stems, roots, and leaves, including secondary (woody) growth. Introduction to the special anatomy of flowers and seeds. Research project and presentation required. BIOL 3660 recommended. Offered even-numbered years in the fall.
