Develop an understanding of complex concepts on the importance of both viticulture and enology in the final quality of wine. Students will learn about various topics from ISU faculty as well as guest speakers. This course would provide knowledge and tools to be applied in the future on grape growing, on grape and wine chemistry, on the process of winemaking, on how to evaluate a food and beverage product, and on how to make decisions based on the knowledge. .
