Carver Department of Biochemistry, Biophysics and Molecular Biology offers majors in biochemistry in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. Biochemists seek to understand life processes in terms of chemical and physical principles. Students in the biochemistry majors develop foundational analytical skills while exploring frontiers in biotechnology and medicine.
