Applied chemistry in the context of soil and environmental sciences. Mobility, bioavailability, and retention of nutrients, metals, and organic compounds in water, soils, and sediments. Includes solution-phase chemistry, solid-phase chemistry, interface chemistry, and practical agricultural and environmental applications that involve integrated chemical reactions. AGRON 3540 and GEOL 1000 recommended.
