Practical management of horse farms and horse health. Topics include broodmare care, mating decisions, parasite management, pasture management, marketing, biosecurity and hay selection. Experiential introduction to management of an equine farm including day to day feeding, barn chores, horse health care, foaling and related topics. (Typically Offered: Spring)
