Exploration of materials behavior, manufacturing processes, quality control, and ethical considerations in the context of biomedical materials and devices. Emphasis on the design and manufacturing of biomedical materials through advanced techniques such as additive manufacturing, 3D bioprinting, and other polymer, metal, ceramic, and composites processing methods. The course integrates considerations of material selection, biocompatibility, regulatory requirements, and sustainable manufacturing practices.
