Drawing on interdisciplinary perspectives, explore how clothing has been a focal point of global commerce for centuries. Explores the multiplicity of fashion symbols and sign systems in geographic and cultural contexts with an emphasis on developments in aesthetics and design practices and the proliferation of the international fashion system since the 20th century.Meets International Perspectives Requirement.
