Explores historical, ethical and contemporary factors contributing to disparities in health outcomes for persons disadvantaged by income, location, ethnicity, sexual orientation, and abilities. Provides the student with knowledge and skills to analyze and evaluate health promotional materials and community-based interventions to reduce global health disparities. Meets U.S. Cultures and Communities Requirement.
