MUSIC 114A: Marching and Pep Bands: Marching Band

Membership determined by audition and band application. Auditions held for woodwind, brass, percussion, flag, and twirler positions. Presentation of pre-game and half time shows at each home football game; additional performances are also scheduled on and off campus. Students may not be concurrently enrolled in MUSIC 114A and 114C.

The Department of Music and Theatre offers a strong undergraduate music program, where students study with full-time faculty professionals in a supportive environment that encourages students to become their best. Two degrees are offered in music: a bachelor of music, which is more specialized and contains fewer general education requirements; and a bachelor of arts degree with a major in music.
