Study and evaluation of modern animal production systems (livestock and poultry), with a focus on facilities, technologies, and management practices. Key topics include ventilation system strategies, precision livestock farming (PLF), animal welfare, manure management, ASABE/NRCS standards, nutrient planning, and emission control, with an emphasis on production economics, environmental impact, and sustainability.
