Prereq: ACCT 2150 and MGMT 4710 Introduces fundamentals of U.S. employment law necessary for human resource management. Topics include sources of employment law, classification of workers, lawful hiring practices, liability arising from harassment and discrimination, worker’s rights and duties, employment contract issues, and lawful termination of an employee. Builds knowledge and skills for effectively managing each of these areas.
