GEOL 4080: Advanced Geology Field Studies

Prereq: (GEOL 3560 and GEOL 3680) and Concurrent Enrollment in GEOL 3080
Three-week summer field course required of all geology majors as part of their 6-credit geology field camp sequence (GEOL 3080 + GEOL 4080). Inquiry-based projects that simulate workflows in geosciences careers in academic, industrial, environmental and governmental sectors. Topics include analyses related to structure, litho- and subsurface-stratigraphy, environmental science, carbon storage/sequestration, and geological risk assessments.
