Prereq: (Credit or concurrent enrollment in MUSIC 3340; Admitted to the Educator Preparation Program; Music major) or permission of instructor
Instructional materials and methods appropriate for teaching instrumental music in elementary, middle school, and high school music programs. Required observations in area schools. Intended for instrumental music education students. Credit or enrollment in MUSIC 3620B recommended. Offered even-numbered years. (Typically Offered: Spring)

The Department of Music and Theatre offers a strong undergraduate music program, where students study with full-time faculty professionals in a supportive environment that encourages students to become their best. Two degrees are offered in music: a Bachelor of Music, which is more specialized and contains fewer general education requirements; and a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in music.
