NRS 4700: Global Health Nursing
Credits: 3. Contact Hours: Lecture 3.
Concentrates on the delivery of health care globally and examines the influence of programs, systems, and policies on global health. Evaluation of natural and manmade disasters, and environmental, social, political, and economic factors that shape patterns and experiences of illness and health globally. Learners will reflect on their own worldviews, perceptions, and the influence of global issues on their own lives. Meets International Perspectives requirement. (Typically Offered: Spring)
